The Ascension Team
Ascension Sales Team is comprised of five Outdoor Industry vetrans with more than seventy-five years of experience in the Industry

The combined experience of our representatives has led to long-term relationships with 400+ retailers in the outdoor industry. Ascension understands the value of building relationships with the individuals who make buying decisions as well as the individuals on the front line selling your brand. When we take on a brand, we take it to retailers who we have known and worked with for decades. We also eagerly seek out new retail partners and explore new sales channels when appropriate.
We make big promises and we follow through by investing in our organization to better serve our brand partners. Ascension has a 2500’ corner showroom in Outdoor Experience wing of the Denver Mart as well as a satellite office in Park City, UT to better serve our UT customer base. In addition, we have a fully equipped van to support off site events and demo’s.
We collect and analyze sales data to determine what products are performing and why. These analytics help identify trends and improve sales performance. We subscribe to Up Next Data for reporting and sharing information across our organization.
Forecasting and sales strategy implementation is paramount to achieving sales goals for us and for our customers. We take pride in thoughtful and comprehensive forecasting & planning. We use top-line data, on the ground intel, and our collective experience to hone in our forecasts to provide better information to our brands. Working with national retailers like BC.Com, Campsaver, Sportsman’s Warehouse, Cabela’s, and Academy Sports has taught us to sell with a plan and we implement this strategy in all of our relationships. A wise sales manager once said to us, “hope is not a strategy”… and we listened.
There is no better way for an independent sales agency to add value than by providing consistent, exceptional, hands on training. We engage in seasonal store clinics, regional events, product demonstrations, and dealer camps to create an indelible learning experience for your staff. We routinely achieve upwards of 250+ training events per year. Our staff is fully engaged in training. It’s our single biggest investment for our organization because we know it makes a difference.
Like many of you, Ascension is dedicated to the causes that benefit our retailers, our brands, our industry, and our own passions. We participate as board members on advocacy groups, we support the OIA, OMA, WWSRA, Access Fund, Utah Avalanche Center, Teton Bridger Avalanche Center, CAIC, and Protect Our Winters (POW).
